We live in Holargos, a well looked-after residential suburb with middle class population, located about 6 kilometers (northeast) away from Syntagma Square. I consider it a great place to raise your kids, socialise, shop and have fun.

Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Papagou-Holargos, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. Holargos was the name of a deme of ancient Attica. The most prominent citizen of ancient Holargos was Pericles. Holargos was part of the community of Chalandri until 1933, when it became a separate community. It became a municipality in 1963.
