Kalyvia Thorikou is a town and a former municipality in East Attica, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Saronikos, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit.
Kalyvia Thorikou consists of two distinct parts: the main inland town Kalyvia and the coastal settlement which is also referred to as Lagonisi. Kalyvia proper is situated on the south side of the Mesogaia plain, in the southeastern part of the Attica peninsula.
There are several low mountains around Kalyvia Thorikou, including Panion to its south and Merenta to its northeast. Kalyvia Thorikou is 7 km northeast from the Saronic Gulf coast at Lagonisi, 5 km south of Markopoulo Mesogaias, 6 km northwest of Keratea and 24 km southeast of Athens city centre.
The Greek National Road 89 (Gerakas - Koropi - Lavrio - Sounio) passes east of the town.

This Experience is offered in TWO versions:
The guests will visit a traditional bakery (“fournos”), where they will have a chance to get an insider's view of the preparation facilities and procedures for all special greek pastries and delis.
Back at Anna's beautiful backyard, the visitors will take active part in the food preparation procedures for a traditional greek BBQ, including souvlaki ("kalamaki"), tzatziki and fried potatoes (french fries). They will learn the minor "tasty" recipe intricacies, and enjoy a hands-on experience of cooking and consuming their own BBQ dishes, while drinking a refreshingly cold beer.
Since Anna is an ardent greek dancing practitioner, she will help her visitors take their initial on-the-spot lessons in traditional greek dances like syrtaki (as in the “Zorba the Greek” movie), hasapiko and zeympekiko, coupled with lots of actual practice and invigorating chit-chat.
