The Bay of Zea, since Ottoman times and until recently known as Pasalimani, is a broad bay located at the eastern coast of the Piraeus peninsula in Greece. It hosted the swimming events at the 1896 Summer Olympics held in Athens. A seaport and marina are located in the bay.
Marina Zeas is situated on the west side of Piraeus port, 10km (6.2 miles) away from Athens. It is one of the largest marinas in the Mediterranean sea, always hosting impressive and luxury yachts during the whole year.
Marina Zeas is also one of the most interesting areas of Piraeus . Often crowded day and night, since here one can find many restaurants and fish tavernas. It also offers intense nightlife with a variety of clubs and bars for those who wish to enjoy or to be entertained till late in the night.
A walk around the west end of the dock will give you the opportunity to a panoramic view of the Pasalimani gulf and its narrow entrance from the side of Kastella area.

Catherine has degrees in French Literature and Marketing, and is also an accomplished author. Taking advantage of her studies in Experiential Learning, her love for nature, and her extensive travels in France, UK, Italy, USA, Holland etc, she offers an authentic “get-together" experience. She also loves kids and runs a private pre-school education center.
